Dear Reader,
I'm on the road this fall and hope to see you. In September, I'll host private lunch briefings in New York City, Boston, and Philadelphia. Then I'll be in California in October, Texas in November, and Florida in December—please reach out if you'd like to meet while I'm there.
This fall's briefings draw on my recent travels to Greece, Israel, and Abu Dhabi. In meetings with officials in Athens, Jerusalem, and Abu Dhabi, we discussed Syria's collapse, Iran's nuclear program following recent strikes, and Turkey's support of Hay'at Tahrir al‑Sham. We also examined how Qatar continues its influence operations through American institutions and why Saudi normalization has stalled, putting the Abraham Accords under strain.
I'll present MEF's analysis and recommendations for U.S. policy—what the Trump administration must address on Iran's nuclear program, the implications of Turkey's regional ambitions, and options to secure American interests as alliances shift.
